Multi Skillz
Our Multi skills – Kindy program has been designed and developed by the Ultimate Development Group in conjunction with early years specialists to help younger children from tots to 6 years to acquire essential physical, social, mental and emotional life skills.
Research shows that the first five years of a child's life shapes their future – their health, learning and social development – and ultimately sets the course for the rest of their life.
Our aims
1. To provide a physical activity programme that incorporates the main aspects of the framework in order for each child to develop physically, socially, mentally and emotionally.
2. To allow children to experience play based learning in a physical environment that is engaging and builds success for life.
3. Create stimulating environments and activities in which children can explore, play, be happy, creative and develop
What do we offer?
- A programme that is more than just about the physical development of each child but takes a more holistic or whole round approach (including mental, social and emotional development) in a healthy and happy environment
- Specialist multi skills sports tutors to lead a specifically designed programme
- A chance for every child to participate in the program
- A programme that is planned to meet the specific needs of the children and is appropriate to their age
- A programme that is regularly evaluated and updated to ensure any changing needs are met (this will allow continuous improvement and ultimately enhance outcomes for children).
Pre-schoolers (3–5 years) should accumulate at least 60 minutes daily of structured physical activity

- We will discuss with the centre their ongoing needs and revisit the centre in relevant time cycles with new sessions and plans
- Our coach will work on a maximum ration of 1:8 (this is in line or lower than the ratios recommended in the Early years learning framework)
- Continuity of coaches that help build open , honest and trusting relationships with each child
Progress?
- Physical, social and mental development/ progress will be recorded for each child at the end of each term. This will be in the form of a written report/ certificate
- We will also work closely with each educator to ensure that they are fully informed of each child's progress, this can be used by early years learning educators to discuss the child's progress with parents/ guardians and can also be used and passed onto the child's teacher when they start school.
How are we different?
Other companies usually focus on one specific sport this raised numerous issues with us, these include;
- Development of only specific skills (tennis, football, rugby etc) rather than general motor skills
- A large number of children taking part in sessions to maximise profit
